“I was confident that I wanted a career in the health field during an early age, although I was not quite sure which route to take. During my university days I noticed there was a decline in general health of my family due to a heavy usage of prescription drugs and there was very little awareness and knowledge on nutrition and general health. It occurred to me then that I needed to choose a career that revolutionizes the average patient’s awareness/knowledge of their general health. I decided to shadow a local chiropractor and there was no doubt in my mind that this is the career that I wanted to pursue. My experience at that clinic was exactly what I had envisioned. There was a proactive approach to improvement in health without the use of drugs and invasive procedures. Most importantly the patients left the office relieved and often received valuable knowledge to further enhance and maintain their health. The spine and the nervous system need to be functioning at their full potential in order for our bodies to not only withstand the daily stresses of life but to prevent disease/decay. I want to make a difference and would like to see each and everyone of us striving to not only stay out of pain but to be the best version of ourselves.”
Calgary is home for me. I have lived here for most of my years along with my husband and family. I love hiking the mountains, traveling and spending time with my family/dogs, as I am a big time family girl.
My goal is to empower my patients to live their lives in the healthiest condition possible. There is nothing worse than not being able to do the things that you love to do! Be your personal best.
